Departure to Sagar Village
Reporting point Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi. Reporting time 9.30 p.m., departure 10 p.m. Meet your trip captain and get introduced to fellow travelers. Board the vehicle and begin the overnight road journey to Sagar village, the base point of Rudranath trek. Dinner break at a local eatery en route. Long drive vibes, travel games, music, and stories to kickstart the trip.
Arrival at Sagar Village
Early morning drive through Phoenix Himalayan Road, en route stop at Devprayag Sangam, confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi forming the holy Ganga. Perfect for photos. Arriving at Sagar Village, base point of Rudranath trek. Settle into your accommodation and relax after the long journey. Overnight stay in Sagar Village.
Trek to Lwiti Bugyal
After an early breakfast, gear up your trek, begin the scenic hike from Sagar Village towards Lwiti Bugyal. Walk through dense forests, mountains, streams, and meadows with breathtaking Himalayan views. Arrive at Lwiti Bugyal campsite by late afternoon. Relax at the campsite, enjoy the serenity, alpine meadows, and group activities. Dinner under the stars. Overnight stay in tents, sharing basis.
Lwiti Bugyal to Rudranath Temple
Have breakfast at the campsite before starting the trek, beginning your journey through alpine meadows, rhododendron forest, and high-altitude landscapes. Reach the sacred Rudranath Temple, one of the Panch Kedar, where Lord Shiva is in worship. Seek blessing at the temple and spend time exploring the scenic surroundings. Enjoy mesmerizing views of peak like Trisul, Nanda Devi, and Nanda Kunti. Dinner at the campsite near Rudranath, overnight stay in tents under a star-lit Himalayan sky.
Trek down to Sagar Village
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise at Rudranath Temple. Attend morning prayer, spend some quiet spiritual time. After breakfast, begin your descent back towards Sagar Village. Retrace the scenic trail through meadows and forest. Arrive at Sagar by evening and settle into your accommodations. Enjoy a warm dinner with the group, overnight stay at Sagar Village.
Kalpeshwar and Departure to Delhi
After breakfast, depart from Sagar village, drive towards Kalpeshwar Temple, the only Panch Kedar accessible throughout the year, where Lord Shiva's hair, Jata, is worshipped. Seek blessing at Kalpeshwar Temple and also visit the nearby Dhyan Badri Temple. Enjoy lunch after temple visit. Begin the return journey towards Delhi with group vibes, stories, and memories. Overnight road journey.
